I’m a PhD student in Linguistics, educator, runner, CrossFitter, weightlifter, avid reader, DIY enthusiast, and lover of all things shiny and delicious. I have a to-do list that’s 20 pages long, a passion for fitness, learning, and teaching, and the mouth of a sailor.

My entire life, I’ve been told that I can’t do things because they don’t go together in the traditional sense. You can’t run and lift heavy weights. You can’t care about your grades and go out on the weekend. You can’t wear dresses and pretty jewelry and have muscles. You can’t be strong and beautiful. But why not? Who decided we had to fit in certain boxes and why do we think we have to listen?

I’m here to prove that living a life that’s seemingly full of contradictions can be elegant and empowering, even if it doesn’t always make sense.
